Social media star Dolly Singh recently made her Bollywood debut with Bhumi Pednekar starrer Thank You For Coming. The influencer graced the newest episode of Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist. In a hearty conversation with the host Sidharth Aalambayan, Dolly shared many aspects of her childhood in Nainital and also highlighted some important issues through her own experiences. Among all the other things, Dolly Singh’s thoughts about consent and the fear of saying no has our attention.

Thank You For Coming star Dolly Singh was the recent guest on Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist. From female pleasure to eve-teasing, and more, the influencer spoke at length about many raging issues related to women. She also made it sound relatable by sharing her own experiences too. Dolly Singh also spoke on the topic of consent and said, “I am still learning, and it’s sad that we have never been taught how to say a No.” She opened up more about it and expressed her fear of saying no to people upfront if and when they ask for something. Dolly Singh also said, “There have been many instances where I haven’t been able to speak up bout feeling uncomfortable  or putting forth her opinion about feeling uncomfortable.”

Dolly Singh also highlighted the issue of fearing the aftermath of incidents where a girl has shown the courage to fight her eve-teasers. The TYFC star also recalled an incident of eve-teasing in Delhi where she and her friends beat the boys who followed them despite their warnings. Dolly Singh opened up about the fears that she dealt with after the incident and how she constantly kept imagining the bad consequences of taking a stand for herself.
