As per reports, the cold wave has been predicted in many parts of northern India by the Indian Meteorological Department. The maximum temperature recorded at Delhi’s primary weather station, Safdarjung observatory, was 15.6 degrees Celsius on December 26, 2022. The minimum temperature at Safdarjung is recorded at 5.6 degrees. The northerly winds are said to be the cause of the sudden dip in temperatures and the chilly weather that has gripped the nation.
