Actress Zareen Khan made headlines on September 17, Sunday after an arrest warrant was issued against the actress. The warrant was issued for an alleged cheating case that was registered against her in 2018. The warrant was issued by a Sealdah court in Kolkata after the investigating officer submitted a detailed report of the investigation. Also, the actress has till now not appeared before the court or appealed not guilty in the matter, therefore that court finally issued this warrant in the 2018 case.
For the unversed, the incident for which an arrest warrant has been issued against Bollywood actress Zareen Khan happened back in the year 2018. This was during Kolkataās famous Durga Puja time when the actress was supposed to come to an event but did not show up at the last minute. In response to this, the eventās organiser went ahead to file an FIR against the actress. However, during the initial investigation, Zareen Khan did show up for the questioning and blamed the organisers for keeping her and her manager in the dark. Back then, she had alleged that the eventās organisers gave her the impression that the program was on a large scale and would have the presence of many well-known people, however, that was not the case. As per many media reports, Zareen did not go ahead and seek bail in this matter but her manager did. Therefore, after the final investigation, the court ordered the actressās arrest in this matter.
