After Kedarnath actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s unfortunate death in 2020, NCB went behind many Bollywood celebrities to question them about their involvement in the possession and consumption of drugs. In the same year, a case was filed against comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Libachiyaa for possessing cannabis. However, after they were granted bail, the NCB challenged the decision in court, and finally, on June 7, 2023, the couple has been given relief on this case.
On June 7, the news of Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa getting relief in the 2020 drug case made headlines. The plea made by the Narcotics Control Bureau against the bail granted to the celebrity couple in the 2020 drug case was rejected by the Special court in Mumbai. The court passed the verdict in the first week of June, and due to the absence of NCB’s prosecutor or investigator to present their case on the plea, the court went ahead to pronounce them non-guilty.
