Ayodhya Mahant Insults Swara Bhasker For Marrying A Muslim. This Is A Man Of God?

In 2023, when love jihad continues to be a hot topic of debate Swara Bhasker chose to marry a Muslim and her love life has brought her under fire (no that it’s anybody’s business but we know how things work around here..). The actress recently tied the knot with the love of her life, Samajwadi party leader and political activist Fahad Ahmad. The couple were all smiles in the pictures from their court marriage shared by the actress. The lovebirds tied the knot under the Special Marriage Act. The interfaith couple’s wedding has received sharp criticism from religious leaders with the latest one being Ayodhya Mahant Raju Das.

Attacking Swara Bhasker for marrying a person of her choice, Ayodhya Mahant Raju Das stated that since the actress if the actress is an empowered woman, she shouldn’t have gotten married. Matlab kuch bhi! Who said empowered women don’t get married? To make matters worse, the Ayodhya Mahant continued speaking further and sarcastically congratulated Swara Bhasker if she wishes to “spend nights with 1000 men” as she got married into a community where brothers and sisters marry after which they do “talaq, talaq, talaq”. Did he not get the memo that triple talaq is now illegal? Honestly, who asked him for his opinion on Swara Bhasker’s personal life and who she chooses to marry?

Now, hold on. He didn’t stop there. Ayodhya Mahant Raju Das went on to attack Swara Bhasker further and stated that she openly chanted “Insha Allah” and “Bharat tere tukde honge”. He went on to highlight that she married Fahad after she called him brother just days ago and asked him to get married. Like seriously? How did he not get that it’s a joke? The woman had already submitted documents to marry him before she poked fun at him and Fahad Ahmad made sure to clarify the same after all the attacks on the couple began. IT WAS A JOKE!

But he’s not the first one to voice his opinions on Swara Bhasker’s marriage. Earlier, VHP leader Sadhvi Prachi had attacked Swara and said that the actress clearly did not pay attention to the Shraddha Walker murder case and how her body was chopped by her live-in partner who murdered her. She further stated that the actress should’ve taken a look at the fridge before marrying a Muslim man. And then she got to the best part of her statement, she added that since it’s Swara’s personal choice she has nothing to say but made sure to point out that what happened with Shraddha Walkar could also happen to the actress. Matlab sab bol ke they say it’s her personal choice. If you really think that it’s her personal choice, why are you speaking in the first place?

Honestly, marriage was, is and will continue to be a personal choice for a couple. Every person has the fundamental right to choose who they want to marry. Essentially, all the hate speech and trolling of the couple is a result of them simply exercising their fundamental right. How absurd is that? Moreover, if the law and constitution and the Special Marriage Act allow Swara Bhasker to marry a Muslim man, who are we to comment on it? And the last time we checked, Swara Bhasker isn’t the first actress to marry a Muslim and even if she were, how does this concern anyone but her?
