We all love people, especially the celebrities who have a good sense of humour. But if those jokes, after targeting others’ physical features, which in a way mock them, are not okay, it appears that Arshdeep Singh falls in this category. There’s no doubt that he is an amazing player, and he has also entertained his social media followers with his sense of humour, but we have noticed a pattern where he has sometimes made problematic jokes that mocked other cricketers.
1. Arshdeep Singh Mocks Priyansh Arya’s Teeth
Recently, a video has been going viral that captured cricketer Priyansh Arya in the frame. We can hear Arshdeep Singh asking him to smile and show his teeth. It appeared that he made this request to allegedly make fun of his teeth. Additionally, it also seemed that that Arya was trying to ignore what he was saying.
2. Tilak Varma Called “Andhere”
Arshdeep Singh once again garnered eyeballs for calling Tilak Varma “Andhere” which was seemingly directed at his skin colour. Then he allegedly compared him with Naman Dhir, calling him Punjab’s real “noor.” At one point, he also asked if Tilak had applied sunscreen. This remark did not sit well with netizens, and they brutally called out Arshdeep.

3. Shashank Singh Teased
In another video, which was captured at an airport, Arshdeep was seen mocking Shashank Singh after a series of dropped catches during the previous matches. He seemingly mocked his performance and made fun of it. During this, Shashank was seen resting and not responding to what he was doing.
See, we understand that all the people mentioned here have played with each other and could be close friends. We don’t know their dynamic! But when such jokes are posted on social media, it usually garners backlash, as they can trigger a few people who are insecure and working on themselves. On the other hand, when someone mocks others, especially involving their appearance under the pretext of “jokes,” it is not okay at all!
