Senior journalist Anjana Om Kashyap recently dominated our feeds after she slammed YouTube educators. She accused them of doing this to make money from students and get views. However, her comment didn’t sit well with some of the online professors, including Khan sir, and they left no crumbs while calling her out. Along with them, some of the students have also expressed their disappointment with the remarks she made against them.

What Did Anjana Om Kashyap Say Exactly?

As per the media reports, during a live debate broadcast, Anjana Om Kashyap slammed YouTube educators, calling them “do kaudi ke” and saying that they are only drawing on a blackboard not to educate students but to get those views, do drama, and make money. Further, Anjana also alleged that these educators make people believe in their “wrong” method of teaching and stated that it was because of them that schools are not focusing on quality education and telling students to join coaching centres.

When her statement regarding the YouTube educators went viral, many of them didn’t remain silent. Abhinay Sharma, creator of the Abhinay Maths channel, replied to that by asking if YouTube educators are worthless, then who has been preparing millions of students for exams like NEET, UPSC, SSC and JEE over the past several years? Further, he also highlighted how expensive coaching is not an option in small towns and cities, and how YouTube education has helped them with such competitive exam preparation!

What Else Did Other YouTube Educators Say?

Additionally, Suman ma’am, who is known for teaching on the Ocean Gurukul platform, revealed that she runs free marathon classes on YouTube for students who are not able to pay for coaching institutes. Further, she stated that Anjana Om Kashyap, who should be an icon to people, was sitting in an air-conditioned studio and calling them “fraud.” Having said this, Suman ma’am talked about the anchors’ desperation to chase TRP rather than talk about real problems like student unemployment or paper leaks. Khan Sir, one of the most beloved online professors, also reacted by highlighting the term “do kaudi ke” and saying, “Shikshak ko keh rahi hai inko kuch nahi aata, to tum padhaao aake. (If she is saying that educators don’t know anything, then she should go there and teach.)

Even now, the chatter around her anchor’s remarks has taken over the internet. Let us know what you think about Anjana Om Kashyap’s statements!
