In the latest update, the controversial (read: misogynist) influencer has been detained by Romanian authorities in Bucharest over suspicion of human trafficking, rape as well as making an organised crime group. As per the Romanian authorities, Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were detained after their house was raided in Bucharest. But guess what? It was the video made by Andrew Tate in response to Greta Thunberg’s sassy response that gave him away to the Romanian authorities. As per the rumours, the pizza box shown in the influencer’s video helped the Romanian authorities confirm that he was in the country and led to the raid at his home. Well, looks like someone got cocky and made a mistake!

For the uninitiated, the former kickboxer and reality show contestant Andrew Tate and his brother have been under criminal investigation by the Romanian authorities since April. The authorities have been investigating them due to the suspicion of forming an organised crime group for exploiting women and forcing them to create pornographic content as well as raping them. And what’s more shocking is that viral videos of the arrest of the brothers show Andrew Tate smiling as he sits in the police car.

NGL but it’s hilarious to see how this misogynist invited trouble to his doorstep because he got too cocky.
