Woman’s Explanation About Why Ghosting Men Is Easier Is So On-Point!

Dating men comes with its own set of problems. I know because I dated a man for eight years, and now have gotten married to him but that’s a story for some other time. But I will admit one thing, when I was dating my man, we never ghosted each other. I understood the meaning of ‘ghosting’ only a couple of years ago and immediately labelled it as a rude dating practice. I thought declining a man from dating him would be simply better instead of just *poof* disappearing!
But as someone who has never been ghosted or has ghosted anyone before, I did not realise that the whole concept of ghosting only came into being became men could not take no for an answer. And a recent tweet by a woman explaining why she prefers ghosting men and it all makes sense now.
A Twitter user who goes by the handle @galsrmypals took to the micro-blogging platform to explain in short why she prefers ghosting men. Firstly, she apologised to all those who are anti-ghosting and then started her explanation. She wrote that telling a man that she does not want to go on a date with him will lead her to explain to him why she does not want to go on a date with him. Then, this will lead to her explaining to him that it is a ‘harmless refusal’ and it has got nothing to do with him. This will further lead her to nurse his ‘broken male ego’, and the Twitter user just… trailed off! Because I assumed the list of all the explanations she would have to give to him is very long!

Uff, I cannot imagine going through this process at all! Why is it so difficult for men to just accept a woman’s refusal and move on? Reading this tweet, I definitely agree that ghosting men is better than taking the polite way out. Because come on, who wants to waste time explaining things to them like it’s rocket science?
