Ayesha and Kabir never shied away from open communication. From communicating with gestures to aankhon ke ishare to speaking about taboo topics like Ayesha being on oral contraceptive pills to prevent conception to her damaged relationship with her husband, this sibling duo shared anything and everything.

2. They Were Each Other’s Cheerleader And Confidante
Ranveer Singh’s Kabir Mehra did not hesitate before supporting Priyanka Chopra’s Ayesha, be it her decision to leave her husband or to follow her passion. To add to it, he was always there to encourage her and lend her an ear every now and then. And he was never the one to reveal her secrets. Kabir remained Ayesha’s closet confidante and her secret keeper.
3. They Looked Out And Fought For Each Other When Needed
Kabir never enabled patriarchy and was quick to call out sexism and toxic masculinity. He did not even blink before questioning his parents on now putting his sister’s name on their wedding anniversary invites and that’s not all. He was never one to take the credit for his sister and even openly proclaimed that his parents need to acknowledge that Ayesha is better with business and hand her the family business.
4. They Were Partners In Crime
From giving love and relationship advice to career advice, Ayesha and Kabir were always there for each other. The siblings kept each other sane and grounded while dealing with the family drama. They were always a team, be it about hiding Kabir’s relationship or intervening in their parents’ life and reminding them where they went wrong.
5. Their Banter Was Adorable
Sure, they were the mature sibling duo but that doesn’t mean that they did not have their fun. They had their inside jokes, witty remarks and even food fights. I mean, Kabir did steal Ayesha’s ice cream. No one steals a girl’s ice cream!!
