Some of us are such hopeless romantics, we are idealists in love. When we fall head over heels in love with someone, we want it to last a lifetime. I mean, I personally don’t understand the concept of temporary relationships. Either I don’t give enough f*cks to be with someone or I give too many to not want it forever. But well, I also know that it doesn’t always last, even if you want it to. However, seeing someone you love get married to another person is a different kind of pain. It shreds all your hopes of having a future with them. And the episode becomes even more painful if you didn’t have the time to transition from being their partner to watching them be someone else’s.
Recently, a video went viral of a woman desperately calling out to her boyfriend from outside the gate while he gets married inside to someone else. This incident took place in Madhya Pradesh’s Hoshangabad, wherein the woman cried her eyes out, screaming “babu” from outside the wedding venue. The boyfriend never came outside to meet her and she left without seeing him, as they tightened the security.
The woman is originally from Kanpur and claimed that she was in a live-in relationship with him for the past three years. Apparently, the duo worked together in a company in Bhopal. And now the guy is getting married to someone else.
She couldn’t help herself and went to the venue to stop the wedding, it is believed. The woman kept screaming until the police came and escorted her out.
Really, girl. Don’t cry over a dude who left you to marry another woman. You should want someone who wants you back. You deserve better.

The video went viral and netizens sympathised with her as her boyfriend went ahead and married someone else, leaving her heartbroken. Honestly, next time you go for an arranged marriage meet, I think it’s advisable to ask if there’s someone who will feel betrayed if they get married. In that case, I’d rather not marry someone who has his hands laden with the tears of another woman. I am not saying, I know it was the man’s fault. Just generally speaking, I can’t respect men who go around being in a “serious relationship” and then get married off to a woman of his parent’s choice. Unless, they kept it clear from the start.
