Woman Captures Stalker Breaking Into Her Apartment On A TikTok Video. This Is So Scary!
A few months ago, when Netflix premiered the super creepy yet binge-worthy show You, I along with a lot of other women were forced to wonder how we would react if we had a stalker like Joe Goldberg, secretly meddling with our lives to make it perfect, only to later blow it up to smithereens. It would be scary and worrying and we would be sitting in a corner in self defense. Because ultimately what can be shown romanticized on reel, can be hair-raising scary in real. As a woman can testify to, after she caught her stalker enter her home on TikTok video.
Sounding nothing short of an anecdote from the hit stalkerish show You, this American woman Hannah Viverette, accidentally captured her stalker breaking into her apartment from her second-storey balcony door, while she was busy recording herself dancing.
This happened at her home in Hagerstown, Maryland. Hannah heard a noise while she was recording herself dancing when she got startled. She wrote on Facebook, “In a moment with my eyes closed, I heard my second storey balcony door begin to open. Startled, I immediately moved towards the door to close it, only to realise there was a man behind the force.”

Continuing to further elaborate on her frightening encounter, she wrote, “It was the moment I came face to face with him at my door that I knew he was there to harm me. He kept his hands in the pockets of his hoodie with a smirk on his face.” We can only imagine how terrified Hannah must’ve felt at the moment, to realise that a guy had entered her house unwarranted, with intentions far from decent.
She called the moment, “scariest moment of my life” while she was describing the incident. In the video that is now viral, Hannah can be seen repeatedly asking the stalker his identity, to which he replied, “Am I your friend?”. Persistent in the scariest way possible, the stalker didn’t budge until Hannah asked him to get out, before he actually retreated.
She then ran to her neighbour’s apartment to dial 911 and report the matter. Meanwhile, a Hagerstown Police Department statement confirmed that 36-year-old Angel Moises Rodriguez-Gomez had been arrested on charges of third- and fourth-degree burglary, second-degree assault, stalking and malicious destruction of property. He is currently out on bail until his court date, and that is no consolation to the woman who has already reported, “My intruder had unplugged my Christmas lights that were tightly wrapped around my balcony post, and had cut/tore approximately 2 feet of cord from it,” on Facebook.

She also went on to write, “This cannot be the first attempt he’s ever made to act on stalker behaviour. If anyone knows ANYTHING about this man or have ever felt/been uncomfortable/harassed, assaulted in ANY way by him, PLEASE SPEAK UP!! I refuse to live in fear and I refuse to let him continue doing this to me or ANYONE.”
A video also talks about how Hannah’s lease binds her to this apartment and the stalker (now out on bail) lives in the same apartment complex. She’s scared as anyone in this situation would be.
We admire her courage to stand up and not bow down to such creeps in fear. We sincerely hope the matter is thoroughly investigated and that the man is put behind bars for trespassing and intruding. This is scary.
