I am a sucker for romantic comedies. Whenever there is a movie about a rich girl, poor boy, and their tragedy, I’ll be the first one to watch it. Drama, while inheriting millions from your step dad? Count me in! Teenage mean girls who target the underdog, and later meets Karma in the face? Know all the movies, that too in alphabetical order. Yup!
So, if you are like me and are desperately waiting for all the Hallmark Christmas movies, then you have to binge-watch these shows! They have love, fights, flings, and a whole lot of drama! Yes, you can thank me later. (And yes, I accept chocolates.)
A colleague recently told me about this show, and it is full-on masala material. A small town girl enters the big bad city of New York, and meets her badass roommate. Who is also the b*tch in Apartment 23. How their friendship continues will provide a heavy dose of laughter. Catch the two seasons on Netflix now!
A Lucy Hale-starrer, this show revolves around a girl with cancer, and her impulsive decisions. But, there’s a twist. She ends up getting cured, and thus faces the consequences of all of those decisions. Like marrying a stranger in Paris. Sounds fun, no?
Rich family, beautiful people, and scandals — the perfect recipe for a binge sesh. You cannot stop watching after one episode. And with new episodes every week, you don’t have to! Major crushing on Fallon’s wardrobe. MAJOR.
You must have heard about it, but it’s time you start watching this show that has the most bizarre story line. A girl who gets impregnated through artificial means, but in reality is a virgin. A love triangle, her journey as a mom, and rib-tickling humour, this light show is ideal after a stressful day.
The series revolves around Dylan (the lead) who has been diagnosed with chlamydia, and his quest to tell every girl he’s had sex with, about it. And there are A LOT of girls. Laughter, love, and sickness… this 3-season series has everything that you need to click the ‘Next Episode’ button.
Also, the show was earlier called Scrotal Recall. Yup.
Based on the novel, Momzillas, the show is about a mom who is not elite, hip or sophisticated like her neighbours are. Hence, she’s the odd one out. Simple, funny, and classy in a weird way, this show will win your hearts.
An aspiring model dies in a road accident, and comes back to life as a plus-size lawyer. Very Ekta Kapoor, but so entertaining. She gets lessons in intelligence, body issues, and many other things that she didn’t realise when she was thin. Things that all of us can learn too.
Not a chick flick, but something that is a must-watch! If you loved the Boss Baby movie, then you’ll definitely go gaga over this series of 13 episodes. I did. I totally did!
