Watching Saif Ali Khan And Kareena Kapoor’s Khandaan Is Like Watching Hum Saath Saath Hain Minus The Drama!

It was five years ago that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor tied the knot. And while we tend to assume that chemistry drops after marriage, theirs seems to be just getting better with time. Recently, an old picture from their wedding appeared on the internet and has been going viral since then. It feels like just yesterday that they started on this journey together, and yet when you look at the picture it feels like a decade has gone by!

And when we say that we don’t mean they look much older now, because like their chemistry and looks have only gone higher on the scale of gorgeousness. But they have come a long way since the time they started and that makes us feel like a lot of time has gone by. From being newly-weds to becoming parents to Taimur, and now watching Taimur having grown up out of nowhere… it honestly feels like a big time lapse.

But what really warms our heart is how they’ve evolved as a big happy fam! We’ve seen Kareena, Saif and Karisma going for dinners, celebrating birthdays together and basically being three happy musketeers! After Kareena completed Veere Di Wedding, the Kapoor sisters had flown to London and Saif joined them later to spend some quality family time together.

In fact, Saif and Kareena have been spending a lot of time with Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu as well. Even Taimur and Inaaya, the cousins seem to have bonded well.

Recently, Soha shared an adorable picture of the Pataudi family and captioned it, “Like the branches of a tree #family #familygoals #missingafew @saraalikhan95.” It was from their dinner night, hosted by Saif and Kareena. In the picture you can see Saif and Kareena along with their son Taimur, Sharmila ji, Soha Ali Khan and Saif’s children from his previous marriage, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Khan.

The dinner was hosted because Sharmila Tagore was in town and the entire family decided to catch up. She shared in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, “Saif cooked for us; he made a lovely quinoa salad with cherry tomatoes and avocados, along with a mushroom and broccoli dish and roast chicken. Taimur was getting agitated so we wrapped up by 9.30-10 pm as get-togethers now depends on the kid’s schedule.” Kunal Kemmu couldn’t turn up because he wasn’t well and Inaaya had already fallen asleep. Or we would have had the entire family in one frame!

One would think that the equation between Sara Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan would be rather awkward, but that’s not the case. On Koffee with Karan, Sara had opened up about her relationship with Kareena, “I was clear from the beginning that anyone who makes my father happy – not specifically Kareena – makes me happy. Anyone, he loves, I love. I don’t need to know who that person is. It’s about my father. Having said that, Kareena and I became friends and have a healthy equation regardless of the fact that we’ve conducted ourselves with dignity. It’s also easy for me to love and accept Kareena because I have a mom, who makes me feel everything’s fine. She got me ready for my father’s wedding with Kareena.”

Kareena too seems to be very fond of Sara, she said in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, “Sara is a rare combination of beauty and brains and that has happened to the Indian film industry after a long time. She can hold a conversation with anyone and at the same time give a shot in which she’s looking absolutely gorgeous. She has all it takes and I think she will be one of the brightest stars on the screen. I can only hope and pray for the best for her.”

They have become one big happy family and it practically feels like watching Hum Saath Saath Hain, minus the drama. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan have come a long way and we believe they are like the glue that binds the entire fam together! And why not, when your folks are as cool as the Pataudi’s.

Currently, the cute couple and Taimur are vacationing in Tuscany, Italy. Kareena’s stylist shared a couple of pictures on her Instagram and we just can’t stop gushing over what an adorable family they are!

On the work front, Saif will be next seen in the second season of Netflix’s Sacred Games. Kareena will be seen in Good News with Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. She will also be seen in a special role in Irrfan Khan’s Angrezi Medium. Shooting for Karan Johar’s Takht will begin later this year. Kareena will also be seen judging dance reality show, Dance India Dance.
