Valentine’s Week 2022: All You Need To Know About The Dates And Purpose Of All The Days Of Love Including Rose Day, Propose Day, And More

We all have seen epic tales of love in many movies and series and it has made us hopeless romantics, for sure. But falling in love in real life is way more different and you have to make so many efforts to keep the romance alive in the relationship. From confessing your feelings to the person you love to surprising your partner with sweet gestures. And Valentine’s Week is the perfect opportunity to express your undying love and show your partner that they are the most important person in your life. Throughout the week preceding Valentine’s Day, we celebrate love with days like Rose Day, Propose Day, Kiss Day, Chocolate Day, Promise Day, Teddy Day, and then comes the ultimate day of love and that is Valentine’s Day. People around the globe celebrate love and togetherness in honour of Saint Valentine, from February 7 to 14 every year. So, now that the week of love is finally here, let’s take a look at all the days of love, it will also help in planning surprises and romantic dates for your partner.

Day 1: Rose Day (February 7)

The first of the week of love begins with Rose Day on February 7. Well, many people can’t express themselves through words so it is always better to offer a rose to your special person. Now, different colours of roses represent different relationships – white rose marks new beginnings, the pink rose represents admiration, the yellow rose is for friendship, and as always, red is the colour of love. So choose the flowers accordingly and express your emotions wisely.

Day 2: Propose Day (February 8)

There’s no better way to express your feelings for your loved one than to pop a question on Propose Day on February 8. On this day, it’s time to go down on one knee and just let your heart express all the love you have for the special one.

Day 3: Chocolate Day (February 9)

We don’t know what’s better than chocolate in this world. So during the week of love, we celebrate Cholocate Day on February 9. So don’t forget to buy lots of sweet treats for your loved ones including friends and family, and don’t forget about your partner, please!

Day 4: Teddy Day (February 10)

We love love. But do we love anything more than receiving surprise gifts? Umm, probably not! Expressing your love to your partner with a cute teddy bear on Teddy Day celebrated on February 10 is always a lovely idea. You can’t be around all the time to give them snuggles. Teddy can do it for ya!

Day 5: Promise Day (February 11)

On February 11, it’s time to make some promises with your loved one to maintain a healthy, long-lasting relationship. Ergo, Promise Day! Say it with a ring, or write a mushy love letter!

Day 6: Hug Day (February 12)

Even science says hugs are good for your health because when you give or receive hugs, it causes the release of the hormone oxytocin, which reduces stress and blood pressure. On Hug Day, embrace your loved one in your arms and reassure that you will always be there for each other no matter what.

And finally, the big day is here. Valentine’s Day is celebrated on February 14. You can plan out a perfect date and enjoy some lovely time together, either indoors or outdoors.
