UK Man Admits To Sexually Assaulting 101 Female Corpses. Women Can’t Even Be Dead In Peace

I feel like no matter where women go, there is no respite for us. We are unsafe during the day, during the night, by ourselves, with others, at home, and outdoors. It doesn’t matter. And now I feel like women are not at peace even in death. Especially after hearing the case of David Fuller, the man who was booked for murder and necrophilia. Yeah, the dead know no peace in our world.

On Thursday, a hospital electrician who is currently serving a whole life term in Britain for the murder of two women and sexually assaulting their corpses in morgues admitted defiling a total of 23 more deceased women. David Fuller, 68, previously acknowledged killing Wendy Knell, 25, and Caroline Pierce, 20, in southeast England’s Kent in 1987, months apart. Additionally, he admitted guilt to 51 other crimes involving 78 victims in morgues between 2008 and 2020.

Fuller confessed to sexually assaulting an additional 23 dead women in hospital morgues on Thursday at a hearing at Croydon Crown Court, involving 12 counts of sexual penetration of corpses, increasing the total number of victims to 101.  Statements from the relatives of the victims are being prepared, according to prosecutor Michael Bisgrove, for Fuller’s sentencing next month. Many victims’ families are keen to attend court, he continued, and some of them may even want to read their victim personal testimonies aloud. Judge Bobbie Cheema-Grubb stated that Fuller seemed to be leading an ordinary life but in privacy perpetrated crimes “of the deepest darkness” when she sentenced him for murder last year.

When police examined his home, they discovered that he had recorded the attacks at the two morgues, where he had been employed in electrical maintenance since 1989. Possession of an extreme pornographic image depicting sexual interference with a corpse and the taking of indecent photographs of youngsters are among the offences. Sexual penetration of a body is another. The evidence was from 2008 when digital cameras were becoming more widely used, but investigators think they may never know the full extent of Fuller’s wrongdoing.

Sajid Javid, the health minister at the time, referred to Fuller’s offences as deeply disturbing and made a commitment to taking steps to guarantee nothing similar ever happens again. How Fuller’s actions remained unnoticed for so long has been the subject of an independent investigation announced by the government.
