3 DIY Phone Covers For The #Girlboss In You!

Women’s Day is right around the corner, and what better way to treat yourself than with a pretty phone cover! It is a perfect excuse to get together with your girlfriends and make a phone cover for yourselves, or even better, for each other! These girl boss-inspired phone covers will give you constant motivation to conquer every aspect of your life!

1. Fries Before Guys.. DUH

Things you will need:

• Phone Cover
• Red Glitter Paper
• Yellow Sponge
• Scissors & Glue
• Acrylic Paint
• Paint Brush

How to do it:

1. Draw and cut a trapezoid shape on the glitter sheet, in order to make the fries container.

2. Take a print out of the McDonald’s logo and stick it on the glitter sheet.

3. Cut the sponge into rectangular slices in order to create French fries.

4. Apply glue on the top half of the cover and stick the sponge pieces in an uneven manner. Create two layers of it to get a fuller look.

5. Stick the glitter sheet on top of the sponge, and make sure you cover the sponge pieces completely.

6. Take some white acrylic paint, and paint ‘Fries Before Guys’ on the bottom half of the cover. You can also use a whitener if you are not comfortable painting it.

7. Slide your phone into the cover, and voila! You are done :)

2. Girl Power

Things you will need:

• Phone Cover
• Golden Glitter
• Sponge
• Scissors & Glue
• Permanent Marker

How to do it:

1. Apply glue on the bottom half of the cover, and use a sponge to spread it evenly.

2. Sprinkle glitter over it to cover the entire surface.

3. Don’t forget the sides of the cover!

4. Use a permanent marker to write ‘Girl Power’ on the top half of the cover.

5. In order to prevent the glitter from falling out, apply a thin layer of glue all over the cover to seal it in.

6. Voila! You are all set to flaunt your new phone cover!

3. The Future Is Female

Things You Need:

• Phone Cover
• Acrylic Paint
• Sponge
• Paint Brush

How to do it:

1.  Cover the entire surface with black paint if the cover is not already plain black. You can even use an old printed cover, since it will eventually be covered completely with paint anyway.

2. This is where you can have fun! Take a sponge and create an abstract pattern on the cover. Work with the dark colours first, then use lighter colours for highlights, and then blend it all in with dark colours again.

3. Take some acrylic paint, and write ‘The Future Is Female’ in the centre of the cover. Use a whitener if you are comfortable using it over a paint brush.

4. Make asterisks marks and various sizes of dots over the highlighted area in order to create stars.

5. And that’s it! You are all set to flaunt your new phone cover.
