This Woman’s Computer Accidentally Changed Her Name To ‘Princess Banana Hamm’ On Her Resume. We Think Phoebe Buffay Would Be Proud

Whoever knows me even slightly will be able to tell you that I am a FRIENDS fanatic. I have watched every episode of every season numerous times and I still laugh at every joke like it’s my first time. Although, I do have my favourite moments. For instance, the episode where Phoebe decides to get creative and changes her name to ‘Princess Consuela Banana Hammock’. She is not only my favourite character but in a lot of ways Phoebe is my spirit animal. However, no one in their right mind would name themselves Princess Consuela Banana Hammock. Or would they? Well, this woman’s name on her resume accidentally did change to ‘Princess Banana Hamm’ and she didn’t notice for the longest time. It’s no wonder she didn’t find a job.

This man shared the story of how his girlfriend didn’t get a job for three months because of an error on her resume. No, it wasn’t some small spelling mistake. Her name on the resume was ‘Princess Banana Hamm’. Maybe her colleagues could’ve called her Valarie.

He wrote on Reddit, “This happened three months ago and we finally realised what happened today. One day while my girlfriend was at work, she asked me to go on her computer which was open at home. All I had to do was re-save her resume in a new file titled ‘gf’s resume’.”

Further adding, “Simple right? Wrong… Whilst saving said resume, her computer thought it would be funny to change the name header back to the profile user name. PRINCESS BANANA HAMMOCK, which was then shortened to Princess Banana Hamm due to spacing.”

The only way this entire incident can get any funnier is if the man sharing this on Reddit is named ‘Crap Bag’. Also, I need to start hanging out on Reddit way more than I do.

Anyway, neither the man nor his girlfriend noticed this glaring error on her resume for three whole months. Not to mention, she kept sending it to potential employers and kept getting rejected. Let this be a lesson to us all. Double-checking is the key to an embarrassment-free life.

The man went on to write, “Fast forward to today, she goes to update her resume to apply for a new job and there it was. The bane of her existence. We both immediately realised why she hasn’t been getting called back for any interviews.”

He said that his girlfriend is not too happy with him about all this. She has banned him from using her computer ever again. While this might be for the best, I don’t necessarily see this as only his fault. She didn’t as much as glance at her resume before sending it out!

This entire incident is absolutely hilarious.
