This Woman From UP, Along With Her Lover And Family Members, Burned Her Husband Alive. It’s A Horrifying Ordeal
Yes, we are a feminist website. But the thing to remember here is that just because we want to see women empowered and safe does not mean we believe that they can do no wrong. Crimes like domestic violence or murder are usually associated with men but the truth is in the last few months, multiple brutal incidents have come to light where the accused was a woman. And today, we have another gruesome and violent incident that was masterminded by a woman. In UP, a woman, her lover and other members of her family burned her husband alive. It’s horrifying and seems like something straight out of a thriller movie.
This shocking incident came to light from the Kasganj district in Uttar Pradesh. This woman set, Sangeeta, her husband ablaze. Her lover, reportedly identified as Rakesh, and several members of her family were an accomplice to the crime. The victim, 25-year-old Amit Kumar succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.

Amit’s father, Suresh Chandra, has filed an FIR against his daughter-in-law and several members of her family. Including her father. The victim’s body was sent for a post-mortem and the police have already arrested one of the people accused.
Allegedly, in this brutal crime, his wife and her accomplices doused Amit in diesel, set him on fire and left him outside the house. Suresh told the police that his son was taken from his house by a friend of his, Hemant, on Saturday at around 6:30. A little while after that, he was found unconscious with severe burn marks all over.
Suresh also claimed that right before his death, Amit told him that Sangeeta, Hemant and Rakesh doused him in diesel and set him ablaze. Aditya Verma, Additional Superintendent of Police told IANS that, “Based on the complaint by Amit’s father, we have filed a case against Sangeeta, her father Ram Swaroop, Hemant Jatav and Rakesh under Section 302 (murder) of Indian Penal Code (IPC). Rakesh is arrested and the other accused will be arrested soon. We are probing the case further.”
This entire ordeal is horrifying. We hope that the accused get the punishment they deserve.
