When I think of what I want my wedding day to look like, I think of me in a gorgeous lehenga standing on a beautifully decorated mandap as my groom tries to make me wear the garland. I am going to be weeping harder than a child who just had her candy stolen from her. But thatโs normal. At least I think it is. My main concern though will be to ensure everything goes off without a hitch. No drunk uncle creating a ruckus at the sangeet or someone barging in screaming โyeh shaadi nahi ho saktiโ. Although, that would be so dramatic and filmy. However, after watching this viral video where the couple is angrily throwing their garlands at each other, I am scared thatโs going to happen to me. I genuinely feel bad for laughing as hard as I did at this video. There is so much tension between them, you could cut it with a knife.

I went to Instagram to check it out and I am so glad I did. In the video, you can see the couple stiffly standing. The bride then tries to make the groom wear the garland. She is clearly not in a celebratory mood and when she throws the garland around his neck, it gets stuck in his turban. In retaliation to that, the groom just tosses the garland around the brideโs neck. It was almost like he was playing paper toss with the garland.
