This Girl Sneaked Into A Prison To Meet A Guy She Met Online. Wow, That’s A Lot Of Commitment
Even though I don’t have an extensive dating history, I have tons of experiences that have taught me (the very hard way) where to draw the line when it comes to boys. There are a lot of people, like my best friend, who have no idea when to stop pursuing a guy. I am not the kind of person who would chase after someone who has made it clear they aren’t interested by ghosting me. Thankfully though, I have never been put in such a position but I have heard some unbelievable stories. But none of those anecdotes even begin to compare to this woman’s insane story about sneaking into a prison to meet a guy who she thought ghosted her. The story gets extremely weird so brace yourself.
This woman, Julia Kassel, shared her story on TikTok. You see, when she was in high school, she sneaked into a prison to meet a guy she thought was imprisoned after he stopped replying to her. There are so many things about this whole incident that is giving me anxiety. At that age, I thought kissing and holding hands was as serious as you can get with a person. Anyway, Julia clearly went “above and beyond” to get this man’s attention after he ghosted her and went to prison.
Julia explains it all in her TikTok video. She said that when she didn’t hear from him, she couldn’t believe he had ghosted her so she called all his friends. They hadn’t heard from him either. This led her to believe that he must’ve landed himself in jail. So, Julia joined her school’s law society all because they were visiting the institution this guy might’ve been locked up in. Turns out she was completely right and he was in prison.

She said, “Turns out he was, and I was in high school during this time. Like, I know I’m stupid, but I heard the law club was going to take a field trip to the local county jail. Yes, I did exactly what you’re thinking. I joined the law club, went to every single meet, participated in every single event just so at the end of the semester I could go to the local jail for on a field trip.” After watching this video of hers, netizens were extremely curious and prompted her to make a follow up video. In that video, Julia continued this bizarre story. She said, “So we get to the jail and I’m ready to see my man. We get inside and they’re like alright we’re going to separate you, one group is going to go to the women’s side and the other to the man’s side.”
Julia went on to say, “I’m like no, and they put me on the women’s side. I’m like, ‘no – teacher listen to me, I need to go to the man’s side – please don’t do me like this. And she’s like, ‘why Julia, why do you need to go the man’s side. And I’m like, ‘because I just do’. So in the end I did all of that and I didn’t even get to see him. So moral of the story, never chase a man – especially one who is in jail because you know he’s no good for you, especially when you’re in high school.”
This is hands down the funniest yet most concerning video I have watched. Why on earth would anyone do this though? Although, I have to admit even I was disappointed when Julia didn’t get to meet the guy at all. She put in more effort just to visit him in prison than I did in my last relationship. Hopefully, though, she has learned her lesson and no girl, anywhere in the world, gets inspired by her story.
