This Bride Did Push Ups Fully Decked In Her Bridal Outfit. We Love This

I want to say that this lockdown has forced me to introspect and inspired me to learn new things. But the truth is that the last one and a half years have made me lazier than ever. I wake up closer to noon, watch Netflix all day long and find new ways to procrastinate work. It’s not ideal. But sitting on my bed all day has its consequences. Today though, I got a burst of motivation when I saw this video of a bride doing push-ups in her bridal lehenga. I don’t really have an excuse to be lazy now, do I?

Everyone knows that bridal lehengas are insanely heavy. It’s difficult to walk in it most of the time. Not to mention, the thousand safety pins that are attached everywhere. This is why I was shocked when I saw the viral video featuring this woman doing push-ups like a pro in her gorgeous bridal outfit. Reportedly, she was also wearing heavy jewellery and had a full face of makeup on. This is unheard of. I have to admit though, if I were in her shoes, I would be terrified of my lehenga getting dirty. No one wants a stained or wrinkled bridal outfit, right?

The video was shared by model and dietician, Aana Arora. She often shares her own exercise regimen and enjoys a following of 78.7K followers. Just like most netizens, I was in shock as well. The ease with which this bride does these pushups is unreal. It’s shameful that I can’t even do more than five while wearing an athleisure outfit. This video has garnered as many as 471,347 likes and several comments. It is making me want to get off my ass and go jogging.

I am glad we don’t live in the era where brides are supposed to be shy and hide behind overly large veils. It’s amazing how now we have these bindaas brides who are just being their goofy selves. There is nothing better!
