You Shouldn’t Mess With Kangana. The Karni Sena Is Learning The Hard Way

Actress Kangana Ranaut who plays the role of Rani Laxmi Bai in her upcoming movie – Manikarnika : The Queen of Jhansi, has been facing harassment by the hands of Karni Sena who have demanded that any sort of distortion of history in the hands of the film’s makers will not be taken lightly. These are the same guys who last year created a ruckus around the release of Padmaavat. These guys obviously consider themselves the custodians of all thing history, especially when it involves women. While the rebellion with Padmaavat didn’t have Deepika Padukone making statements, Kangana wasn’t going to take this lying down. She retaliated saying, “If they don’t stop then they should know I am also a Rajput, and I will destroy each one of them”.

But Kangana wasn’t going to have any of this and why must she? She says, “Four historians have certified Manikarnika, we have got censor certificate as well, Karni Sena has been conveyed this but they are continuing to harass me.” Yet the Karni Sena continues to threaten that if at all they depict Rani Laxmi Bai’s image to be scorned in any way, the outcome won’t be well.

Kangana has never shied away from voicing her thoughts, from the time when she blatantly accused Karan Johar of nepotism, a topic that raged and continues to rage, to this time when she’s asking the Karni Sena to back off and that she’s not afraid of them. We love how fierce Kangana is, leading my example!
