Tara Sutaria Opens Up On Her Equation With Ananya Panday And Says It’s Time We Promote Sisterhood. We Agree!

It doesn’t matter what industry you are in, competition is always going to be present. But it doesn’t always have to involve pulling someone down. Sometimes, it may get messy and hateful but healthy competition can also bring out the best out in you. Speaking on the same, talented actress Tara Sutaria who first came into the limelight with shows like, India’s Big Bada Boom, The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir and Oye Jassie, also got her big break this year in Student Of The Year 2. During the shoot of the film, Tara Sutaris and her co star Ananya Panday, who also debuts in the film, shared a very close bond. The film, Student of the Year 2 was directed by Punit Malhotra, the teen film also stars Tiger Shroff and Aditya Seal in key roles.

Post the wrapping of the film’s schedule, there were speculations that Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday have some sort of cold blood, and are in fact very competitive with each other. However, in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Tara Sutaria cleared up the rumours about her and Ananya Panday and said, “Honestly, during SOTY2, Ananya and I had a blast. In fact, we spent so much time together that we ended up picking a lot of traits off of each other. In terms of our roles, they were quite different…there was never any competition.”

Tara Sutaria is loved by fans for being down to earth. The gorgeous actress also opened up on the need for sisterhood and how important it is in today’s competitive world. “Absolutely…it’s been a significant part of my upbringing. I think it’s about time we started promoting sisterhood instead of pitting girls against each other, especially in my line of work.” Tara Sutaria also has a twin sister named Pia Sutaria, whom she shares a really close bond with. “No. I was raised with a twin sister. I have never understood this whole concept of pitting women against each other. It’s almost 2020! Everyone needs to really get over the fact that a woman has to contend against another woman. It should be a myth by now,” she added.
