You and this 20-something cutie have been spending a lot of time together, and your friends have been consistently asking you about your relationship status. Initially, when you have been just texting, and catching up only once a while over drinks, you maintain the “we are just good friends” status. And then, you find yourselves meeting every weekend, speaking every night before sleeping and basically doing all things you’d do in a relationship. Except calling it a relationship. When Sushant Singh Rajput was asked about their relationship status, he spoke in seemingly Delphic way. He said, “Right now, it’s not right to say. People shouldn’t start talking about things in a nascent stage as if they are very sure of it. Why to do that?” Honestly, if that is a “nascent” stage then I don’t know what to do with my love life. They took a romantic trip to Ladakh, he hosted her birthday bash and gifted her a platinum pendant, which she has been spotted wearing these days. Here, I get excited when he says he’s stopped talking to other girls for the time being. What a gesture of commitment, I think.

And here comes the cryptic, Delphic part that had us baffled. Sushant said, “If you ask me any question that has to do with me, I can say it. If I was seeing somebody, I’d have to ask that somebody. Probably your question, if well-founded, will help me insinuate it to the other person to know what to say next time. And probably when you put me on the cover next time, I’ll say it.” And then he further added, “I’m not allowed to say. It’s not that someone else is saying that I’m not allowed to say it. I cannot allow myself to say anything.” OMG Sushant, firstly, Rhea is not Voldemort – you’re allowed to take her name instead of referring to her as “someone”. Secondly, does this mean that these guys haven’t had this discussion yet? Like, now that you’ve been asked, will you go home and have this discussion with Rhea? I mean if that’s how you get around to talking about it, then we’re cool with it. But seriously, like get on it already!
