Singer Kanika Kapoor Tests Positive For Coronavirus For The Fourth Time, And Takes To Instagram To Share How She Hopes To Test Negative In The Next One.
I am going to narrate this story of the Covid-19 pandemic to my kids or grandkids with a lot of vigour. That is of course, largely based on the assumption that I do make it out alive of this quarantine. To how it started with a man eating bat soup (or that’s what I am telling them) and without even knowing the virus travelled on humans as they traveled around the world, and next thing we knew, we were in a complete state of lockdown. I will take a dramatic pause here. Except of course a few celebrities like singer Kanika Kapoor, who took this virus crisis a little too casually and ended up contracting coronavirus.
As the news of the singer of hit songs like Baby Doll getting down with coronavirus came by, more than feeling bad for her, what we did feel was plain anger at her lackadaisical behaviour. Coming back from a trip from the United Kingdom on 9th of March, as Kanika Kapoor landed, rather than quarantining herself as advised to everyone flying in from abroad, the woman decided to attend parties and even make domestic trips. She ultimately tested positive for the virus.
And that wasn’t all, of course. Having been admitted, where although she was just being treated for the virus but also could use some sort of humbling treatment for her starry tantrums, the singer continued to hope to get better, as did we for her. With regular tests being conducted alongside of her treatment, the singer has been tested positive for the virus four times already as of now, and is hoping to test negative for the fifth one.

As fans show immense concern for Kanika Kapoor, addressing their wishes, she took to her social media handle and shared a post with a quote that read, “Life teaches us to make good use of time, while time teaches us the value of life.” And we couldn’t agree more with her, especially in such grim and testing times. She further captioned it with saying, “Going off to bed. Sending you all loving vibes. Stay safe you guys. Thank you for your concern but I am not in the ICU. I am fine. I hope my next test is negative. Waiting to go home to my kids and family…miss them!”
With reports circling about how concerned her family is for her well-being making the rounds, the doctors at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), shared how the singer is stable at the moment, and would soon recover too. Even though the ‘Super Girl from China’ singer has been booked with a charge of negligence, on account of being social even after being instructed to quarantine herself, we hope speedy and full recovery for her!
