Shweta Tiwari Reveals Her Daughter Palak Saw Her Getting Abused By Ex-Husbands
It is often noticed that broken marriages noticeably affect the children. Possibly owing to the trauma that kids face when they’re still young and impressionable, parents’ marriages have a deep and lasting impact on a child’s mind. And while people may believe that kids coming out of such marriages are broken and disturbed, some of them emerge even stronger, like Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari.
With two broken marriages, both of them filled with instances of emotional and physical abuse, the life of TV actress Shweta Tiwari has been anything but a cakewalk. When Shweta divorced her first husband, Raja Chaudhary, her daughter Palak was only 6 years old and as revealed by Shweta, witnessed her mother getting beaten up and abused.
Talking about how Shweta feels responsible for taking away the innocence of her kids who were witness to such abuse so early in life, she shared how she wonders if her kids are hiding some sort of pain or mental pressure from her sometimes. Shweta’s second marriage was no better, for her second husband Abhinav Kohli was also accused of domestic abuse, a case that is still ongoing in the court of law. And even though Shweta aspires to provide her kids a happy life, she regrets not being able to give them such a childhood.

She shared, “Palak saw me getting beaten up, she saw women coming. She has seen everything when she was just 6 years old and I had decided to take this step. Palak has seen all that trauma, police coming to the house, her mom going to the police. My son is just 4 years old and he knows about police, judges and it is not just because of me.”
She went on to share, “Because how else can I do this, this is the only way for me to save myself. For a happy life and to get out of the mess that I am in, there is only one way. That is to be with my kids and go to the police and court. Till today I can’t understand how to save my kids from this situation.”

Talking about how she never stopped her kids for seeing their fathers, she said, “I never tell them don’t talk to them. But they don’t and I don’t know why. Because they get scared, they are scared of this trauma, they want to be happy and I don’t blame them for it.”
We can only imagine the plight of a single mother trying to make it in the world, while trying to set the right example for her kids. And by the looks of it, Shweta seems to be doing a tremendous job, by standing up for the right and setting a right example in front of her kids.
