Shraddha Kapoor’s Look In Dekhte Dekhte Has Us Mesmerised

There are two things that work on the internet in India. Sunny Leone and Atif Aslam. Perhaps for the same reason as well. They cause a stir. So it comes as no surprise that the latest song by Atif Aslam for the movie Batti Gul Meter Chalu has racked up more than 20 million views in just a day. The song, Dekhte Dekhte features the movie leads, Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, and giving us the feels. 

But what really caught our attention is how fresh-faced Shraddha looks in this song. Her makeup is subtle, mostly nude lips, a barely-there base and a smear of kohl in the eyes, but she looks fetching every time you see her. We love her close-ups especially where the toned down makeup makes her flawless yet real, something that can be hard to achieve.

You can almost tell it was cold where they shot it because of the strategically placed blush, which, when the camera, catches it, makes her look flushed but in the most real way. And while highlighters and strobing creams are still a rage, the makeup artist has played fabulously to make Shraddha’s skin look luminous, without it looking blinding. Maybe it’s also that Atif is making our heart sing.
