Shanaya Kapoor’s Cute Message For Ananya Panday For SOTY’s Release Is Every Bestie Ever!

My best friends are like an extension of me. What I know, they know too (obviously). What I feel, they feel too (empathetically). What I support, they support too (unconditionally). Basically we are a package deal and no matter a celebration or a heartbreak, we’ve always got each others’ back.

So it is for these tinsel town besties – Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor. We all know how SOTY 2, released in theatres today, and while we may not be as thrilled for the movie that is all sorts of bizarre, best friend Shanaya Kapoor is all for supporting Ananya pursuing her passion and getting her big debut film.

Shanaya shared her happiness for Ananya with a heartfelt post on Instagram whose caption resonated with us, it was so relatable.  The two have been close since they were little girls. Suhana Khan is the third member of this best friends club.

In an interview with Mid-Day, Ananya revealed how, “It has been our collective dream to become actors. I hope Suhana and Shanaya join the industry soon because they both are so talented. When we were young, during our family gatherings, we would put together shows and perform in front of our parents. Shah Rukh sir would record us on a handycam, and we would make short films out of them.”

If only we could see those home videos, because our guess is that that would still do better than SOTY 2 today. Shanaya Kapoor’s mother, Maheep Kapoor too, shared her blessings and good luck for her daughter’s best friend on Instagram, as she not only reposted Shanaya’s post but also shared one of her own where both Shanaya and Ananya can be seen sitting on a couch in their PJs, eating dinner and watching an episode of Koffee with Karan. If these aren’t like every best friend pair ever, then we don’t know what is!
