Shamita Shetty Says She Is Ready For Marriage, But Doesn’t Know Where Her Guy Is
There used to be a time, not too long ago, when any and every talk about marriage used to excite me. Just imagining myself as a beautiful bride on my wedding day would get me all excited. Cut to now, almost a decade later, when the idea only manages to scare me. Not so much because I don’t ever want to get married or settle down, but because the prospect of finding that perfect guy to be married to is ever too exhausting. A feeling that actress Shamita Shetty relates with.
The actress who was recently spotted in the show Black Widows on Zeee5, recently during an interview opened up about quite a few things in her life, from the roles she is willing to pick up, from the kind of efforts that were put into preparing her look for Black Widows and even the growing trend of releasing shows and movies on OTT platforms.
She shared, ““I am happy to see so many actors stand out due to their performances on OTT and then to know, they have been acting for 10 or 15 years. OTT focuses on good actors and content, rather than popular faces, which is great for all actors, including me.” Although what really gripped us in were her views on marriage.

As though speaking on behalf of most of the single ladies out there, Shamita Shetty said, “I would love to get married but don’t know where my guy is (laughs). He is somewhere and needs to find me. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and that’s probably why I get into trouble always but I believe in love.”
She went on to say, “But look around us and what is happening to the world, marriages and society. It is scary. If I want to marry someone, I need to be sure that I can be with that person for the rest of my life. There is no surety but I haven’t come across anyone who I see myself spending my life with.” And if it wasn’t like a sister preaching to a choir.
With a movie named Tenant lined up, Shamita Shetty is looking forward to be doing more work, all the while waiting for someone whom she can see herself spending her life with. After a thorough screening process, no less.
