Rangoli Chandel Slams Greta Thunberg Again And Netizens Are Pissed. We Are Getting Tired Of Her Twitter Attacks.

Largely, life is unpredictable but there are a few things which are certain such as death (how ironical), failure and Rangoli Chandel’s inappropriate comments. You know how Chandler in Friends couldn’t live without sarcasm, Chandel cannot probably live without being volatile on Twitter. Sometimes, she says things that are inspiring and powerful but mostly her textual sword is ready to attack any innocent person who happens to cross her mind. Now she has done it again, only this time her target is one of the greatest minds of our generation.

On the receiving end of Rangoli’s inane tweet was Greta Thunberg, a 16-year-old Swedish environment activist suffering from Asperger’s syndrome (real mature Rangoli). Greta began her activism when she was merely 15-years old and ever since then has risen to fame as a world-renowned environmentalist. And just like anyone else that is world-renowned, Greta too faces huge slams and trolls on social media.

Replying to Sadhguru’s tweet on agricultural land, Rangoli fired out a tweet that read, “Many great beings incessantly working for the welfare of humanity, but world hails a cranky kid as the ultimate environmentalist.”

Maybe this is a cry for publicity or maybe she just doesn’t understand the rapidly rising impact that climate change poses. If you are appreciating someone else’s work doesn’t mean you need to pull down someone who is working tirelessly to make sure earth is habitable. Yes, Greta is bold and outspoken that does not make her “cranky”. Well, if she is cranky, I don’t know what Rangoli is.

Following that tweet, she posted another tweet criticising Greta. The tweet read, “Only thing Greta successfully managed to do is to skip school, only drama and no results, my life is very simple… WALK THE TALK. NO WALK NO TALK PLEASE.”

This refers to Greta’s climate change campaign, Walk the Talk. What credibility does Rangoli have to slam Greta? Has she done something worthwhile to curb climate change that we don’t know about?

This isn’t even the first time Rangoli has unfairly gone after Greta. After her iconic “How dare you” speech, Priyanka Chopra tweeted in appreciation of her and Rangoli replied to that tweet saying there are many Indians who are working for climate change and they need to be appreciated too. Even then, Rangoli did not understand that this is a global issue and not some kind of international competition.

This ridiculous behaviour is getting a little old now.
