The country has erupted into chaos over BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s controversial statements. She has now been suspended by the BJP and the party is now facing an international backlash as well. Journalist Rana Ayyub has been reporting the developments in this issue through her podcast. But she has been receiving immense hate for the same. She took to her social media handles to share screenshots of the rape and death threats that she has been receiving.
Threats Issued To Rana Ayyub
Taking to her Twitter handle, Ayyub shared the screenshots of the rape and death threats she has been facing. Sharing the image, she wrote, “My timeline right now.”

She also went on to tag Prime Minister Narendra Modi in her tweet saying that she has been receiving threats from his ‘supporters’. She also went on to ask if journalists pay the price of bearing witnesses. Her tweet read, “Dear

Rana Ayyub also spoke about the international outrage that the Indian government has been facing over Nupur Sharma’s comments in her podcast.
