As part of the #LetsTalkCPPuneCity initiative, Amitabh Gupta the Pune Police Commissioner went live on Twitter on Monday for an interaction with the public, where they could come up and ask whatever they needed clarity or information on something, from the police department. Seizing this opportunity was one man in particular who requested Amitabh to “do something” to convince his friend to accept his love proposal.

Taking the query as seriously as any other, Amitabh had the most impressive and savage reply for the person. He wrote, “Unfortunately, without her consent, we can’t be of any help. Nor should you do anything against her will.” However, in an attempt to lighten the blow, he added: “If she does agree someday, you have our best wishes and blessings. #ANoMeansNo.”
