There are a few things that me and my family are collectively excited by, at all times. Butter chicken, Akshay Kumar movies, punjabi shaadi songs and well, getting pictures clicked. We would, as a family, pose at the drop of a hat, whenever anyone takes out a camera. And since we’re so well-versed with the entire action, we have all our poses and positions figured out. Mom and I standing in between, with my brother and father on either side and our dog sitting in front of us, giving death stares to the cameraman. But while we still take our own personal space in a family photo, Priyanka Chopra seems to have locked her favourite seat for any picture and that’s Nick Jonas.

As Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Turner accompany their significant others – the Jonas brothers – on their Happiness Begins tour that kick-started in Miami with a raging concert, the entire family was seen getting clicked for some heartening family pictures. Nick’s parents Denise and Paul Kevin Jonas and Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra along with her brother Siddharth Chopra were also in the frame. And once again, the original Desi Girl could be spotted taking a seat on husband Nick Jonas’s lap.

Be it during their vacation, on a yacht, in an event or perhaps at any given point, in any random picture, the two always seem to be joint at the hip. Like in this picture where she’s using Nick as a pillow. No matter how big the frame is or how empty the seats besides them are, Priyanka is just too comfortable to climb out of Nick’s lap and we think we have guessed why that is. Could it be, that after their being on the hunt for their very expensive purchase of a 20 million dollar house, the two do not want to throw in the extra monies to buy furniture? So instead of a pillow, chair and sofa, they are enjoying each other’s laps and bodies (wink, wink) as the sweetest, most adorable method of cutting costs? The mind is boggled, and poor Nick Jonas (don’t mind our very layered pun), is smothered.

I mean, we understand that the couple is still enjoying their honeymoon period, and are we looking at their uber-cute pictures thinking what sort of mad relationship goals are these? But there has to be some other reason too for PeeCee to be always spotted seated in Nick’s lap, and a romantic cost-cutting gesture seems right up their alley!
