Priyanka Chopra Shares Her Version Of The #2020Challenge Mood Calendar. It’s Hilarious, Relatable And On Point.

The other day, I was daydreaming about my life before corona and wondering how humanity will ever get out of this. So, I decided to watch a BBC video and learned that there are only three options- we wait for more than half the world’s population to get infected and develop anti-bodies so we have herd immunity, we get used to the coronavirus and treat it like the common flu or our amazing scientists develop vaccines. All in all, life as we knew it, is over. Too cynical? It’s the reality, I am just holding up the mirror.

Seven months ago, my biggest concern in life was how to beat the morning traffic on my way to work. And now, I actually miss being stuck in traffic. Wow, that is one sentence I never thought I would say. Anyway, I think the only things that have kept us sane all these months is social media, Netflix and FaceTime. It’s been a horrible few months otherwise. Do you know the feeling you get when you desperately need a few drinks? Yeah, that has been the dominate feeling of 2020. That mixed with anger, sadness and overwhelming laziness. I gotta say, it’s not a very a good cocktail.

Although, the most accurate representation of this year that I have seen has been Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ #2020challenge mood calendar. You see, she followed Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling and took up the viral trend that depicted the deterioration of their mood accurately as the months have progressed in the most amusing way using stills from their films and shows.

I have to say though PeeCee’s mood calendar has been by far, the most relatable. And Mindy Kaling’s is a close second.

In Priyanka’s, January is shown with a picture of her laughing but as the month’s progress, her jovial mood is replaced by gloominess. By August and September, an exhausted and unkept looking Priyanka is hitting herself in the head with a wine glass. Let’s be honest, shall we? That’s exactly what our frame of mind is like right now.

Seriously, how relatable and on point is that? She really nailed it.

After Resse Witherspoon’s challenge went viral, a lot of actresses like Gal Gadot and Anne Hathaway took to their social media’s to share their mood calendar’s as well.

These are hilarious. Ah, social media. Can’t live with it, can’t live without it.

Anyway, everyone has had just about enough of this shithole we are calling 2020. The tides need to change soon or people will really start breaking wine glasses on their heads.
