People Are Uncomfortable With The New Iphone 11 And It’s Not Only Because Of The Prices!
When I woke up this morning, I felt like it was going to be a great day. It wasn’t raining which was a good sign, the sky was a clear blue and I could hear my mother humming in the background so yeah, it was going to be a good day. Little did I know, this feeling of bliss would last for merely five minutes. Like everyone else, I reached my desk, unlocked my phone and opened Instagram. The first thing I came across was an image of the new iPhone and it gave me literal chills. Now you must be thinking I was freaked because of the prices, right? But nope, the thing that freaked me out about the iPhone was the distinct new feature- the three cameras. For those of you who have been living under a rock, the new iPhone features three cameras which resemble an irregular pattern, it instils the same nauseous feeling you get when you see an image of a lotus seed. Icky isn’t it? WebMD describes this form of anxiety as Trypophobia.
If you are Trypophobic, looking at anything which tightly-packed and in an irregular pattern will give you the creeps. In some serious cases, Trpophobia can also lead to panic or anxiety attacks. When it comes to the new iPhone, the close placement of the cameras, which let’s face it looks quite like holes is scaring people more than its prices. Which is saying something. iPhone 11’s new camera update blurs the background for portraits shots, a front-facing camera takes slow-motion video and the three camera lenses are for clicking wide-angle shots. Basically, apart from the placement glitch, this phone is any photographers dream.
I've had really bad trypophobia for years now and seeing pics of the new iPhone 11 all over my timeline makes me want to set everything on fire..stop pic.twitter.com/E1ucM9eeQy

3 cameras on the new iPhone actually triggers my trypophobia. I can’t have people walking around me with those cameras every day ??

Even before they can release the phone into the market, the tech-giant is already receiving heavy backlash from netziens. People are taking to twitter to talk about how it’s not only triggering their Trypophobia but also their Arachnophobia (fear of spiders) since the three cameras at the back also look like spidey-eyes.
The phone will be released in Indian markets on 27th September and it will cost just a little less than your kidney! Haha, no kidding. It’s worth more than your kidneys.
