On Sridevi’s Birthday, Heartfelt Wishes From Family Members And A Book About Her Life
Legendary actress SriDevi ruled Bollywood in the 80’s and changed the way how female actresses were looked at in a male-dominated industry. Satyarth Nayak’s book will be titled Sridevi: Girl Woman Superstar and the idea behind this has been given a green signal by Sridevi’s producer husband Boney Kapoor. As per the recent press release issued by Penguin Random House India, the book will capture all the iconic moments and contribution that Sridevi has made, which helped in shaping the minds of people who considered women stars as mere objects. If you are wondering when and how will you be able to get your hands on the copy, then you will have to wait till October 2019 and the publishing house has said it will be available for preorder on all e-commerce websites. The book will be published under the Ebury Press imprint of Penguin Random House.

Speaking on what made the author to write a book on the actress, he said in a statement, “I have always been a huge admirer of Sridevi and this book gave me the perfect opportunity to celebrate the journey of India’s beloved screen goddess. It was wonderful interacting with various film personalities that she worked with over the years, and put together their memories and stories into a narrative that charts her saga from a child star to India’s first female superstar.”
The book will have details on the body of work of Sridevi and will also mark the time when she made her huge comeback with English Vinglish in 2012! “I am sure this comprehensive narrative on Sridevi will be embraced by millions of her fans from across the globe.
