OMG! The Trailer Of The Lion King Live Action Remake Is Giving Us All The Feels
Like every self-respecting 90’s kid, I loved Disney. Scratch that, I was OBSESSED with Disney. Whether it was collecting Disney magazines, DVDs or bullying my parents to take me for every Disney movie that made its way to India, if Walt Disney & Co had anything to do with it, you can believe I was there.
So it should be of no surprise to you that when Walt Disney released the official trailer of the cult Lion King live action remake, the internet and yours truly collectively lost their sh*t. The trailer begins with a VO from Mufasa, voiced by James Earl Jones that beautifully sets the tone of the journey Disney will take us through Africa. What made me happiest, though was that the trailer was true to the 1994 original.
PS: if the trailer doesn’t give you chills, you’re probably dead inside.
Stunning visuals, a brief snippet of Circle Of Life and cute AF peeks of a baby Simba will ensure that the Disney fandom is ready and adequately psyched for the July 2019 release.
