Now The Ranaut Sisters Are Going After Richa Chadha. It’s Exhausting. Bas Bhi Karo Yaar!

My brother and I have a very dynamic relationship. As kids, we were each others fiercest enemies and now, having done all the growing up, we are each other’s most trusted confidantes.  The bond that siblings share is of pure love, honesty and a sense of protectiveness for one another. Also, of fighting each other for the remote and charger, but that’s a story for another day.

It’s the same with Kangana Ranaut and her sister Ragoli Chandel, except they share more than just the same blood and the same set of parents. They share the same affinity to drama and loud, drawn out digital mud-slinging. For some reason, they’ve decided to go after Bollywood, hammer and tongs, take everything personally and launch personal attacks against anyone who says anything against them. Or even implies it.

To fill you in, here’s what happened. All of this started after actress Richa Chadha made an appearance on the TV Show By Invite Only and said, “If I have a problem with someone, I wouldn’t have a war of words with them on a public platform. This is because I don’t want to say it. Not because I lack the courage. I have the courage and I want to say it sometimes, but I’d say it one-on-one.”

Seems fair enough, right? Although, Rangoli Chandel felt differently and made sure the world and Richa knew. She shared a screenshot of Richa’s comments’ media report on twitter and further added, “I hear a lot of people like @RichaChadha comment about Kangana’s outspokenness, they often insist they choose not to have public war of words. My question is do they have a choice? Are they truly autonomous?.”

Perhaps they do not, Rangoli. But there is a possibility that they don’t want a public row. Rangoli went on an epic rant questioning people’s competence, about how Kangana has really worked to be where she is, how Richa and other actors are possibly ‘jobless’ for saying such things and the like. At some point, because she’s so eloquent, Rangoli calls Richa an ‘a**licker’ as well. She ends by asking her to take a seat.

We are all for women being outspoken and calling a spade, a spade. But at this point, both Kangana and Rangoli have gone after so many actors, it’s getting exhausting and we are done with these tirade. Kangana has been engaged a war of words with Alia, Ranbir and of course, all of us know how her very public spat with Hrithik Roshan.

Apart from what seems like her full-time job- ranting and taking digs at anything moving in her line of sight- Rangoli will be seen starring alongside sister Kangana Ranaut in a movie called Panga- and boy does the title seem befitting. Reminds us of the theory we had around Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming ‘Mental Hai Kya’ and its relevance to her actions!
