Navya Naveli Nanda Starts Her Own Platform Catering To Women’s Health. It Sounds Promising

Everywhere I look right now women are being tormented and punished for things that are beyond anyone’s control. Domestic violences cases have increased, women are still being beaten and rapes, there isn’t a silver lining in sight. Over generations, the concept of men subjecting women to mental and physical torture has ingrained itself in our very grassroots, which is why it’s so difficult to get rid of. I have always believed that if our grandmothers had fought for their rights, and not been so terrified, then maybe life wouldn’t difficult for us today.

However, we can’t erase and rewrite history. What we can do is control our future and make things easier on the generations to come, give them the hope that we’ve had to struggle for. To do that though, we need to help the women who need our help the most right now, like Navya Nanda is doing with her brand new initiative.

Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter, Navya has launched a platform, Aara Health that will cater to women. This platform will help women discuss all their health issues freely and safely. It’s an amazing and highly relevant initiative and I am sure it’s going to help so many women.

A post on the Aara Health Instagram page describes their mission as, “Encouraging women to make empowered and educated health choices using Aara’s safe, confidential and scientifically reliable products, tools and services.”

The page also explained that Aara is, “a virtual healthcare platform for women that aims to empower, educate and diagnose in a confidential, safe and reliable manner.”

The founders of this initiative are Navya, Ahilya Mehta, Mallika Sahney and Pragya Saboo. These four young women have come together to try their best to help other women live a healthy life and we are glad this star child decided to do something like this.

Navya’s mother Shweta Bachchan Nanda, her uncle Abhishek Bachchan and Athiya Shetty congratulated her on this initiative.

We don’t have a health care system that caters solely to women’s issues and since there are so many health issues women are too ashamed to talk about, Aara will be a great help.

This initiative gives me real hope for the future.
