These Bollywood Celebrities Are Going To Be At The Prime Minister’s Swearing In Ceremony Today

Okay, people, everyone’s eyes on Delhi today. Yes, let’s look here. *claps*

In many, many ways, history is being written today; Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be taking his oath alongside a new Union council of ministers and later, will be seen swearing in for the second term after his victory in the Lok Sabha elections.

The ceremony will obviously feature some of the most prominent personalities from all over the world, ranging from international leaders to ministers, to industrialists, and of course the who’s who from the tinsel town.

This year, the invitation for the ceremony has been doled out to many actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Kamal Hasaan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, south superstar Rajnikanth, director Karan Johar and some more.

Kangana has already been spotted at the airport, making her way to Delhi. While we definitely want to watch the swearing in, we will also be keeping our eyes peeled to see who else from the film fraternity will grace the affair.

Akshay Kumar with whom Modi had a candid interview recently will obviously be present. He’s been a pretty vocal supporter, so this makes sense.

Vivek Oberoi who played the PM in the recent biopic has also been extended an invite. Apparently Ranveer Singh was also invited but the actor will not be able to make it because he is out of the country shooting for 83.

Last time, among the stars who attended the oath taking and swearing in ceremony were Hrithik Roshan, brothers Sohail and Salman Khan, Vivek Oberoi and many actor-turned politicians like Vinod Khanna, Kirron and Anupam Kher, Dharmendra and Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha and famous lyricist Javed Akhtar.

Many celebrities have been  vocal in congratulating the second time Prime Minister taking to Twitter to congratulate him for winning, yet again. He clearly has had a good running with the actors and we’re hoping the stride continues.

Also, remember the last time when these Bollywood A-listers met with our PM and created a one-of-a-kind selfie bar for others?
