But beyond her recent win, it’s the beautiful Mumbai home she has thoughtfully created with her husband, filmmaker Kabir Khan, that has everyone talking. While describing her emotional connection with her home, Mini Mathur reportedly stated that if her walls could talk, they would reveal many stories about shared laughter, craziness, acceptance, success, and failures. The home doesn’t follow a fixed interior style; however, it features objects that have been collected over the years. Their home also features an 85-year-old coffee table, brought from Kabir Khan’s ancestral home. Additionally, the couple opted to go with a sofa made from lotus root. Mini seems to be clear with her vision, which has made their abode more welcoming. The actress has decorated the dining space like an informal British tea room. Not just that, her thoughtfulness was reflected when she included an open kitchen, as she wanted cooking to be a shared and interactive activity.

According to her, all spaces must have colour that reflects how one is feeling at a certain point in time. She revealed getting inspired by the Greek architecture, which is clearly visible on the terrace. Its white cement seating, blue accents and bougainvillaea, the outdoor area reflect a corner of Santorini, making it the highlight of the home. As per the report, her and Kabir Khan’s terrace initially had several pipes running across it. But instead of concealing them, they designed a cement seating area around the pipes. But that isn’t it. The terrace also features a half-boat used as a centrepiece. But wait, this isn’t just a random display. They mindfully turned it into a storage area to store their dogs’ food.
It’s important to note that their master bedroom is connected to the terrace, so when they host a party, it allows the bedroom to turn into a dance floor. When it comes to their bedroom, it features a Bali-style platform bed, which has remained Mini’s favourite piece over the years.
