Kiara Advani Doesn’t Believe In Dating Apps. Neither Do We!
Being a millennial is not easy because we are caught off-guard amidst a phase of transformation. Things are changing and everything is new; we don’t know how to deal with most of the things. Like the new-fangled taste of independence is sweet but the responsibilities that come with it, not so much. We like instant gratification but the best things come with patience. We care deeply but we act like we don’t. We want passionate love but are afraid of being tied down. How do we handle being a millennial? Honestly, this is why on several levels I can’t relate to my generation – especially when it comes to dating. I still like meeting guys organically and liking them effortlessly. I want my “meet-cutes’ and not swipes! If you feel the same, you’ll be glad to know Kiara Advani is one of us, unlike what her character in Kabir Singh shows.
She recently opened up about her dating life, or rather the lack there of. “I have never experienced anything on these dating apps. It’s like going on a blind date. When you are not acquainted with someone and you agree to go on a date, this is something I would not like to go for. Right now, I am single. I may have gone on a date, maybe it must have happened during my school days…I think,” Kiara revealed.

Raise your hand if you’re willing to buy that! Nobody? Thought so! I can’t believe that the last time she went on a date was back in school. Nope. Maybe she didn’t realise it was a date. That or she really needs to come out of her shell and look around! Being single is nice but dressing up and enjoying a nice dinner with a cutie is great too.

And while she is at it, Kiara also finally spoke up about Preeti’s toxic relationship with Kabir in Kabir Singh. “It’s conflicting for me, but as an actor, I have played a role. I do not believe in all this, but as a character, if I did not believe in Preeti, then it would have been noticed. I am playing a character and I look at that as my job. I have to put forth the best,” said Kiara. She further added that she wouldn’t tolerate something like this, “The film has the journey of this faulty character, but I will never tolerate this in a relationship.” I am glad! And for all those who think otherwise, that is your answer right there about what a woman would or wouldn’t tolerate.

Kiara Advani is doing brilliantly for herself and has several films lined up. “I have Good Newwz at the end of 2019. Next year, I have Laxmmi Bomb, Indoo Ki Jawani, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and Shershaah, so lots to look forward to,” she said.
