Wear Sunglasses And Look At Kerala Jeweller’s Ring With 24,697 Diamonds That’s Made The Guinness World Record
They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend, don’t they? I hold this true personally because I love diamond-crusted jewellery more than I do gold. The shine, cut and dazzle of a diamond captures the attention of anyone and halts them in their tracks. Now, imagine if 24,697 diamonds were encrusted in a ring. Merely imagining its brightness and shine makes me want to squint my eyes! But yes, this ring exists and it has set a Guinness World Record for having the most diamonds in one ring!
Ring Sets Guinness World Record
As per a blog by Guinness World Record, SWA Diamond Jewellers from Kerala have made this ring that has the most diamonds on it. The ring is shaped like a pink oyster mushroom and is made of 24,697 diamonds. Abdul Gafur Anadiyan, the managing director at SWA Diamonds, has said that the mushroom is a symbol of ‘immortality and longevity’. The ring is also named Ami because in Sanskrit it means immortality.

The jeweller made this ring to get their work recognised and garner visibility for their brand. A plastic mould was used to create a prototype of the ring and then the actual design was created digitally. The ring weighs 340 grams and as per the jeweller, it costs a whopping $95,243 which when converted into INR becomes Rs 7597557.92! Also, might I add that natural diamonds have been used in this ring. The design has also taken three months to complete. SWA Jewellers have broken the record previously set by Harshit Bansal in 2020.
