Janhvi Kapoor’s Baby Pictures Are Helping Us Deal With The Quarantine Boredom

If at the beginning of this decade someone would’ve told me that there was a possibility that I would not live to see the next six months, I would ask them for their extremely potent stash. But we are three months in, and it honestly seems like our universe is detoxing itself. Coronavirus is doing to our world what we expect green tea and cucumber water to do to us.

Think about it, people saw dolphins on Marine Drive. Yes, in Mumbai where usually you can’t even tell the colour of water is blue people think they saw dolphins swimming in the sea while there was an absence of humans. It’s so lovely.

But this does not change the fact that being stuck at home without knowing when this will finally blow over, sucks. There are stages to self-isolation as well and right now, I am in the stage where I would kill (or in this case, die) just to be able to walk down my lane. Don’t worry I won’t though, I am keenly practicing social distancing as should you be. But that doesn’t change the fact that the boredom is killing. But on the flip side, if our Bollywood celebrities can find fun things to do around the house why can’t we?

Just take a look at Dhadak girl, Janhvi Kapoor, who is, like all of us quarantined to the comfort of her house. She is making most of her time by going through old pictures of her parents- Boney Kapoor and Sridevi and baby pictures of herself.

She started out by sharing a picture of her eating gajar ka halwa on her Instagram stories. The text reads “I love you”. Then she gave us a glimpse of how gajar ka halwa elevates her mood by sharing a baby picture of herself. She looks absolutely adorable in that blue dungaree!

The 23-year-old actress then continued to share a series of her baby pictures with super amusing captions. In one where she is pouting, the text reads “Trying to be chill in front of your crush” in the next one where she is holding a flower in her mouth and posing the text reads “Extra chill”. Then there is a super cute picture of her flashing her million-dollar smile with the text “when it works”. Janhvi also shared a picture of her parents and wrote “Goals”.

These absolutely delightful pictures of baby Janhvi are seriously doing away with my quarantine blues and that is exactly what I needed.
