An actor’s job looks really fun. At least on the outside. You have someone to do your hair, your makeup and all you’ve to do it turn up, deliver your lines with expressions and that’s that. But see, that’s on the outside. For an actor, there’s more to it than just turning up. While it may have not been the case for so long, now things are changing and  Bollywood actors are expected to roll with the punches and work to fitting in to the requirements of the role. Ranveer Singh learned the various combat moves for Padmavaat, for Bharat, Katrina gave the weights a miss to soften her curves. And now looking like Janhvi Kapoor is also willing to go the whole nine yards. The actress is currently juggling with her two films Kargil Girl and RoohiAfza wherein she had to shed and gain weight within a crazy amount of time. Her look in each film are completely different and looks like Janhvi Kapoor is all set to nail both of them.

Janhvi Kapoor is one of the fittest actress in Bollywood and there is no denying in that. The Dhadak actress, is currently gearing up for her upcoming film Kargil Girl, based on the life of IAF officer Gunjan Saxena. First, Janhvi Kapoor had to gain 6 kg for her portrayal in the Kargil Girl. Later on Janhvi Kapoor had to lose 10kg for RoohiAfza where she will be seen opposite Rajkummar Rao. And if reports are to be believed, the actress has to put on weight again, before the second schedule of Kargil Girl, that kicks off in Georgia.

Janhvi Kapoor has exactly six weeks to switch into the character of Gunjan Saxena, and her trainer Namrata has started the same regimen that they used the first time around. Namrata told the tabloid, “She is working out six days a week, for two to three hours daily. For the first two days, she does EMS [Electrical Muscle Stimulation] – for 25 minutes, and the remaining four days are dedicated to pilates. She has a back injury because of which her training has to be monitored.” Janhvi Kapoor is constantly spotted outside her gym post workout and we are sure that the actress will achieve this goal too!

Speaking of Janhvi’s diet, Namrata Purohit revealed that Janhvi consumes food that are rich in protein, which also include homemade jaggery laddoos. The trainer said, “Janhvi has a sweet tooth. So, my mother makes these healthy laddoos with jaggery and nuts. Ideally, she is allowed one a day, but she gulps down three of them.” We relate to the stunning actress, at least on this account, if not the working out bit.

Kargil Girl is slated to release this December and the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi as Janhvi’s father, Neena Gupta as her mother and Angad Bedi as the actress’s brother. Kargil Girl is an important project for the actress, it being her second film. . RoohiAfza is a horror-comedy- drama where Janhvi Kapoor will be seen playing two roles, that of Roohi Arora and Afsana Bedi in the film. RoohiAfza also stars Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma in key roles.
