Janhvi Kapoor Brings Home A Brand New Maybach. But Here’s Why This Was Heart-Warming
‘Like mother, like daughter’, people often say to my mom and I, whenever they see us together and for good reason too. Of course, apart from the fact that I hold a physical resemblance to my mother, there are a number of things that hold us together, some of what I’ve inherited, and other things I have subconsciously imbibed from my mom. From having a fondness for her sarees, to the sharing a love for the same kind of food, knowingly or unknowingly, I have always ended up more like my mom than I ever thought I would. Something that might be true for every other daughter out there, including the Dhadak actress, Janhvi Kapoor who recently bought a Mercedes Maybach that holds a special connection to her mother.

Sridevi’s daughter, Janhvi Kapoor too, entered the Bollywoo last year in 2018 with her movie Dhadak. The young actress, since then has been associated with quite a few brands and already has two more films in her kitty for next year. So naturally, when Janhvi Kapoor got home a brand new Mercedes Maybach, we weren’t surprised considering she’s been doing well for someone who is just one movie old. But what in fact did surprise us, was this interesting detail that Janhvi gave importance to while buying her car.

You see, Sridevi too, often traveled in her own Mercedes with a strikingly similar number like that of Janhvi Kapoor. Janhvi’s number plate read – MH 02 FG 7666, while her mother’s used to be – MH 02 DZ 7666. From having the same last digits, to them both having a luxury car of their choice, Janhvi seems to be recreating her mother’s steps in her own way, and we have to admit, it is painfully beautiful.

The loss of a mother can’t be easy for any child. But Janhvi has always handled herself with utmost poise and grace, and till date, shows respect to her late mother whose advice she still sometimes remembers, shares and imbibes. We think it is incredibly sweet of Janhvi to keep her mother’s memory alive with such small, yet significant gestures.
The actress is currently shooting for two films from Dharma Productions – The Kargil Girl that is the Biopic of Gunjan Saxena, and Dostana 2, both of which are set to release next year.
