Jabariya Jodi’s Dhoonde Akhiyaan Shows The Journey Of Love And Lust. It’s Beautiful

When Jabariya Jodi dropped its trailer, we already knew it was going to be a laugh riot.  Jabariya Jodi brings together Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra and we are excited to see their on-screen chemistry again. The movie is about Abhay played by Sidharth Malhotra who kidnaps the groom and beats them up for demanding dowry for marriage. He later makes the groom show up at the mandap, all monetary demands now suspended. Parineeti Chopra is essaying the character of Babli Yadav and she absolutely nails the look and character. She will also leave you in splits for sure!

Coming to the movies songs, the initial two songs, Khadke Glassy and Zilla Hilela have already released and both are topping the charts. But Jabariya Jodi’s latest song, Dhoonde Akhiyaan and it’s a much more mellow, more lovey-dovey song from the movie.  Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra look absolutely smitten with each other. The song has many cute moments where we see Sid and Pari on a bike, enjoying subtle moments of just being with each other.  We then also get glimpses of what is perhaps Parineeti’s wedding but their expressions seem sombre suggesting that she may not be marrying Sidharth. From what we know, his political aspirations do not allow him to make a commitment. We can’t wait to see how this pans out.

The song could be the best one in the entire album and we are listening to it on loop! Dhoonde Akhiyaan has been sung by Yasser Desai and Altamash Faridi. The song has been written by Rashmi-Virag and composed by Tanishk Bagchi.
