Hrithik Roshan Calls Katrina Kaif A Mazdoor But It’s Not For The Reasons You Think!
In everyone’s lives, at some point or another, comes a time where we take adulting way too seriously. Work suddenly takes over our lives leaving us in a state of constant sleeplessness. Sitting at your desk until 9pm, attending meetings and going completely cray cray over email threads (sounds familiar at all?), you are committed and it shows. You’re nearly never paid enough but then, that comes later right? Now’s the time to put in the hours. What I’m trying to say is, everyone at some point feels like a labourer. It’s hard work and Hrithik called Katrina this, in the most complimentary way.

At the HT Leadership Summit in Singapore, Hrithik Roshan described his co-star Katrina Kaif as a mazdoor when asked by HT’s Sonal Karla who takes more retakes while doing a dance number. Hrithik, who is probably one of the best dancers in Bollywood, said that Katrina is one of the best labourers he has come across because of how much hard work she puts into her work. “This is something that I’ve always told Katrina, which she kind of takes as an insult, but which I mean as an incredibly well-intentioned compliment. I regard Katrina as a mazdoor; she is a labourer, she is a worker. She is one of the best labourers and workers that I’ve ever come across.”
He goes on to say how her being “hot” and “beautiful” are just decorative but deep down she is, in fact, super-talented which makes her easy to work with. This adorable comment shows that the pair not only share an amazing chemistry on-screen but off-screen also.

Hrithik and Katrina have starred with each other in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara and Bang Bang, both of which had very different fates at the box office. Katrina has also done a cameo in Agneepath performing to the ever groovy Chikni Chameli.
On the work front, Hrithik is riding high on the success of Super 30, a biopic on famous mathematician Anand Kumar and is awaiting the release of War where he will be sharing screen space with Tiger Shroff. Whereas, Katrina is currently shooting for Rohit Shetty’s next Sooryavanshi which is set to hit the floors by 2020.
