Good Newwz’s Trailer Drives Twitter Into A Meme Frenzy And They Are Funny

Anyone who says they don’t like memes is lying. The social media scene earlier was that you opened Instagram you could see what hundreds of people are up to in their glorious lives (sarcasm alert!) But thankfully that isn’t the case anymore. Yes, people still fill up our feeds, but memes are now what we open Instagram for. They are funny, self-deprecating and just straight up the best thing social media has introduced us to. And just like any other fad, Bollywood isn’t spared by memers and trollers! Agreed most of the time they go overboard with criticisms in the form of jokes, but sometimes they really hit the nerve by displaying creativity at its best, leaving us all in splits. That is exactly what is happening with the Good Newwz trailer that dropped just yesterday!

Good Newwz is possibly one of the most awaited movies of 2019 for it marks the come back of style icon Kareena Kapoor Khan. It also stars Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. And I have to say despite the  star cast and the done to death mix-up plotline, the trailer was packed with hilarious jokes and amusing punchlines.

As funny as the trailer was, the memes that followed it were an entertainers in themselves. Picking on the funniest dialogues of the trailer and Diljits’s expressions Twitterati once again did not let us down! Mostly, the last scene of the trailer, that shows Kareena giving birth to a baby with Diljit’s head, was turned and twisted into some of the most genius memes ever! The meme makers, using their kickass imagination have picked up on every minute detail of the trailer and turned it into something amazing that left us in a fit of giggles and kissed our mid-week blues goodbye! If you haven’t watched the trailer already, you are probably wondering what the plot of the movie is. To put it briefly, the storyline follows two couples (Akshay-Kareena and Diljit-Kiara) who coincidently have the same surname- Batra. Another rather large coincidence is that both couples are struggling to have a child. So the two couples approach an IVF clinic to conceive a child, the clinic confuses the two couples and mixes up the sperms, because apparently this is an entirely normal thing to happen. This leads to Kareena now being pregnant with Diljit’s child and Kiara with Akshay’s. The trailer gives us a glimpse into both their lives intersecting after the mix up whether they want it to or not.

Good Newwz is all set to hit theater on 27^th December!
